Our Board of Advisors are comprised of select individuals who reflect the highest ideals of Kyosei. They are our role models, advisors, business mentors and occasional friendly shoulders! While they do not hold any shares in our company, nor do they hold any legal responsibilities for our companies actions, they are vision holders that take our success as seriously as their own. We are grateful for their sage wisdom, experience and showing the path.
Lawrence Keenan & Lori-Ann Keenan — The Keenans own and direct a successful ESL school in Vancouver, BC called CSLI (now celebrating it’s 20th anniversary). Their shared experience launching a company as an entrepreneur couple inspires and emboldens us to persevere in our own.
Ross Nichol — Mr. Nichol is a chartered accountant by profession and an ultra-distance runner, mountain climber and writer by passion. Exuding exceeding patience, he has been a wonderful resource for financial counsel and a sound cheerleader for our business growth. Mr. Nichol is currently an Associate with De Visser Gray, LLP.
Walter Nychka — Mr. Nychka worked as a tax accountant with Revenue Canada for 28 years. Thereafter, he established his own private practice, Strategic Accounting & Tax Services, which he ran for 20 years. He’s also served on the Board of Directors of 4 companies, assisted countless start-ups and lectured 3rd year Law Students at the University of Saskatoon on the intricacies of Tax law & Ethics. With good humor, grace and creativity, he’s been a wonderful resource for long-term strategy.
